Math is all around us. Each day in our every day lives we use and see math. Today my girls and I baked some cupcakes, they discovered that we needed to measure the ingredients, and we talked about how fractions are actually a piece of a whole. They divided up the cupcakes equally among the 3 of them so they each had the same amount to decorate. Then when the cupcakes were baked and decorated we took this picture.
